Singh, who is an alumnus of Xavier Institute of Social Service, and has completed a programme in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, started his career in the HR domain, as a personnel and administrative officer with Mineral Exploration Corporation in 1998.
Five years later, he moved to SASKEN Communication Technology, as HR Prime, where he handled all HR processes for a business unit of 500 employees.
In May 2007, he joined Gulf Oil Corp, as head – HR. His next stop was Punj Lloyd, where he joined as general manager – HR for four years.
He entered Reliance Industries in 2012 as head of talent management – E&P. In two and a half years, he was elevated to the post of vice president – HR, heading learning governance, operations and transformation, based out of Navi Mumbai. When he quit RIL after a successful tenure of almost six years, he was vice president – HR (head of Leadership Academy).
Singh served as CHRO at CAdila Pharmaceuticals from 2018 to 2020. After serving as a freelance strategiv advisor for a brief period, Singh is back in the game with this new full-time position as CHRO at Stellar Value Chain Solutions.
