Sunil Singh moves into a new role as head of Leadership Academy at Reliance

Singh will have to collaborate and communicate with peers across the learning and talent CoEs, to ensure a collaboartive approach to leadership development and talent management. 

Sunil Singh has taken over as head of the Leadership Academy at Reliance Industries.

The role requires him to define and execute the approach to the development of executive education and core leadership capability, within RIL. It involves identification, design, development and delivery of core elements within the L&D curriculum in order to support the building of long-lasting leadership capability within RIL.

Singh will have to collaborate and communicate with peers across Learning & Talent centres of excellence (CoEs), to ensure a collaborative approach to leadership development and talent management.

A task for Singh will be to develop a clear development strategy that is coherently reflected and communicated within the Group Leadership Development curriculum and associated delivery channels.

Prior to this, Singh was head-learning governance, operation and transformation.

He joined Reliance in 2012, as head of talent management-E&P.

A postgraduate from the Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Singh has worked with companies, such as Mineral Exploration Corporation, Sasken Communication, Gulf Oil and Punj Lloyd.

Singh also holds a doctorate in OB and HR from IIM-Bangalore.
