TeamLease, the Indian online jobs platformka has roped in Suparna Mitra to play managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) starting February of 2026.
Mitra, who is on the board of directors at Swiggy since March of 2024, was associated with Titan Company for a total of about 16 years spread over two stints.
This alumna of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta hols a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University.
In the early years of her career, she served Arvind Brands, as business head-Lee for about three years. In February of 2006, she joined Titan Company as global marketing head. Over six months later, she was elevated to business head-South. From 2012 to 2015, she successfully managed the business in the southern region for all three verticals of Titan company, that is, watches, jewellery and eyewear.
After a break of about four years, Suparna Mitra was back with Titan Company as chief sales and marketing officer-watches and accessories division, in April of 2019.
A year into this role, she was promoted to chief executive officer, watches and wearables division.
Mitra is also a member of the board of governors, IIM Kozhikode.
Come February and Suparna Mitra will step into the shoes of Ashok Reddy the present MD & CEO who is reportedly going to assume the role of executive vice chairman.
