    Upasna Nischal elevated to India site head, Fidelity International

    Upasna Nischal, who has been serving as global head of L&D and head of HR India, Fidelity International, will now take on the role of India site head from Rohit Jetly. Jetly will now lead technology and operations for the company’s Global Platform Solutions (GPS) business.

    Nischal’s association with Fidelity began in 2019 when she joined as director-HR/ ICF-ACC coach/speaker. Nine months into this role, she was elevated to head of HR India. By April 2024 she had become global head of L&D and head of HR India.

    Equipped with a PGDBM in human resources from IPM, Upasna Nischal went on to become a certified coach from International Coach Federation.

    She has spent 12 years of her career with Sapient, where she worked in various capacities in the areas of talent management, HR business partner, organisation development, recruitment and global shared services. Her last designation at Sapient was that of senior manager-people strategy (talent strategist).

    In 2013, she joined Evalueserve as HR lead/ global head-talent management. Her responsibilities included design and implementation of strategic talent development, performance management and organisational development initiatives across all locations. Her tenure at Evaluserve lasted over six years.

    The year 2019 saw her beginning her association with Fidelity International.

    Upasna Nischal is also associated with JobsForHer, where she is an empaneled Mentor for women trying to return to work after short or long career break. As part of this role, she connects with these women through several mediums such as TweetChat, one-to-one mentoring, and so on.
