    Westlife Foodworld gets Rohith Kumar as CHRO

    Westlife Foodworld, owner and operator of McDonald’s restaurants in West and South India, have designated Rohith Kumar as their chief human resources officer (CHRO). Kumar will report to Saurabh Kalra, the chief operating officer, and will collaborate closely with the company’s leadership team to ensure that the organisation is equipped for the future.

    At Westlife Foodworld, Kumar will be in charge of managing all aspects of human resources and will have a critical role in developing talent and fostering an inclusive work culture.

    Rohith Kumar has more than 15 years of experience in human resources, having worked in the retail industry in various sectors such as apparel, eyewear, food & grocery, and QSR and has held numerous leadership positions in HR throughout his career.

    Before joining Westlife, he served as the head of human resources at Max Hypermarkets India (SPAR India) – Landmark Group for three years. He has also worked as the head of retail HR at Aditya Birla fashion and retail, the head of HR (offline business) at Lenskart Solutions, and as an HR officer at HyperCITY Retail (India). His areas of expertise include talent management, learning strategies, organisational development, and business HR partnering.

    Rohith holds a post graduate diploma, specialised in human resources.
