Rishi Kapoor will head talent acquisition and resource management-South Asia, for WPP Media, which is WPP’s global media collective. He was earlier with Material, as VP, APAC-talent acquisition and staffing.

An alumnus of Delhi University, Rishi Kapoor began his professional journey as a quality executive for GEO Connect, in August of 2002. A year and a half later, he moved to Techroots Solutions as senior consultant. Then, after a stint with FCS as recruitment executive, he joined Corbus as manager-talent acquisition and development in 2006.

After five years of handling talent acquisition, training & development, people management and vendor management there, he moved to Publicis Sapient.

He joined as senior manager-talent acquisition, working out of Noida. Over 11 years into this role, he was elevated to director-talent acquisition in September 2022.

After 12 years with Publicis Sapient, Rishi Kapoor moved to Material, a global business consulting and services company, as vice president, APAC-talent acquisition and staffing.

Known to be a strategic and thoughtful leader in the talent-acquisition space, Rishi Kapoor’s ability to expertly negotiate with both candidates and company leadership will be an asset to WPP Media. WPP is a British multinational communications, advertising, public relations, technology, and commerce holding company headquartered in London.

HRKatha wishes this talented recruiting professional all the best for his new role.
