While Microsoft made 22 PPOs, DE Shaw made two, Fidelity investments made 24 and JP Morgan made a whopping 82. About 32 PPOs also came from The Math company, and eight from Wells Fargo. Infosys and Schneider Electric made seven PP offers each.

The placement drive at VIT began in the second week of July for the batch graduating in 2023. The first phase of the drive saw participation from Airbnb, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, DE Shaw and Media.net among others. Others companies including Wells Fargo , Meesho, Walmart Labs, Amazon, Texas Instruments, Silicon labs, Krypto and Arcesium will also be participating in the coming weeks. The placements will go on till the end of August.

While Microsoft made full-time offers to 45 students, DE Shaw made two, Morgan Stanley offered three, Airbnb gave away four offers and Media.net made just one offer.

Students from all four campuses of VIT, that is, Vellore, Chennai, Amaravati and Bhopal, took part in this centralised placement process, in a hybrid mode, involving pre-placement discussions, online tests, as well as HR and technical interviews.
