The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has introduced AI-powered virtual employees to transform routine tasks into efficient, streamlined processes.

This cutting-edge Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology integrates AI-driven machine learning and content-recognition tasks in just two minutes; tasks that previously took up to 24 hours.

According to Khaleej Times, the RPA system functions as a virtual employee, complete with its own ID and registration. It automates repetitive, rule-based activities, allowing human staff to concentrate on more strategic and creative responsibilities. Currently, two RPA systems are operational at DHA, managing ten services, with plans to introduce two additional systems later this year.

The AI-driven system has already demonstrated remarkable improvements in efficiency. Medical report validation, a process that once required an entire day, can now be completed in just two minutes. Previously, this task required assigning work, verifying documents, and providing responses the following day. The automation eliminates delays while ensuring accuracy, significantly improving workflow efficiency.

The HR department has also benefited from the RPA system. Tasks such as managing employee records, including passport details, Emirates IDs, and certifications, have been automated. Even reminders for renewals, a previously time-consuming process, are now handled by AI, freeing HR employees to focus on impactful projects and strategic initiatives.

What sets DHA’s RPA system apart is its integration of advanced AI capabilities, including machine learning, natural language processing, and content recognition. This enables the system to analyse data, recognise patterns, and validate complex documents such as medical reports. It can even interpret handwritten notes or scanned images with precision, ensuring consistency and accuracy across operations.

These scalable and adaptable virtual employees work seamlessly across systems without human intervention, setting a new standard for operational efficiency.
