UST, a global technology and digital-transformation solutions provider, has expanded its presence in India with a new office in Pune. The company aims to hire between 3,500 and 6,000 professionals over the next three to five years in the city.

Located in EQ Smartworks, Balewadi, the new facility spans 80,000 square feet and houses 1,000 seats. This office complements UST’s existing facility at Sai Radhe Complex in Pune. The expansion strengthens UST’s capabilities in data science, data engineering, design, product engineering and digital applications.

UST’s Pune Centre of Excellence currently employs over 2,000 professionals and serves global clients in fintech, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and automotive sectors. The company is focused on scaling its workforce and enhancing its expertise in AI, digital transformation and cutting-edge engineering solutions.

Founded in 1999 and headquartered in California, UST has a strong presence in India, with offices in Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, Hyderabad, Kochi, Pune, Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi NCR, Ahmedabad and Hosur. The company employs over 20,000 professionals in India, reinforcing its position as a leader in digital transformation and technology services.

“We are excited to open this new space in Pune, a key milestone in our growth journey in India,” said Alexander Varghese, COO, UST . “This expansion aligns with our business strategy and market opportunities in digital transformation. We are investing in talent, partnerships, and infrastructure to drive innovation.”

UST continues to expand aggressively in India. Over the next three years, the company plans to scale its seating capacity and workforce across multiple locations. In recent years, UST has launched new offices in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, and established a second campus in Kochi with plans to create 3,000 jobs there.
