Deepti Kapoor has joined DLF Rental Business as head-HR. She moves from Cushman & Wakefield, where she was MD, head-people & culture, India, Southeast Asia, APAC tenant representation since 2023.

Backed with over two decades of experience in strategic HR, her expertise lies in building high performance teams within the organisation. Throughout her successful career, Kapoor has worked with notable companies including ING Vyasa Bank, HT Media, Aircel, Grand Hyatt, and has even operated her own HR consulting firm.

Kapoor holds a master’s degree in human resources from FORE School of Management. She completed her bachelor’s degree in commerce from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University.

She began her professional journey with Hotel Grand Hyatt, Vasant Kunj, as assistant manager-human resources, in August of 2002.

A year and nine months later, she moved to ING Vysya Bank as regional HR manager, in May 2004. The next year was spent handling manpower planning, operations, branch visits and audits.

April of 2005 was witness to HT Media roping Deepti Kapoor in for the role of manager-HR. There, she spent over five years managing HR operations and processes for an employee base of 350+ employees. For a short while after that, she served as human resource consultant to Unitech before joining Aircel as head-HRBP, talent management and organisational development, in 2010. Her tenure at Aircel lasted well over six years.

From 2017 to 2022, she remained self-employed as an independent HR consultant, managing her consultancy service, Turiya Consulting, based out of Gurugram.

In July of 2022, she accepted the role of head-talent management and career mobility, Max Life Insurance. A year later, she came to be associated with Cushman & Wakefield, where she successfully spent over three and a half years steering the people & culture strategy across India, Southeast Asia, and parts of APAC region, aligning talent priorities with enterprise growth ambitions.

In her latest assignment at DLF, the Indian real-estate company, she will continue to bring the best out of people, an ability she is known for. HRKatha wishes Deepti Kapoor all the best!
