After a seven-year long tenure at Incedo Inc. Deepti Singh has moved to MPS as chief people officer (CPO).
Armed with a PGDM in Human Resources from Christ University, Bangalore, Deepti Singh began her professional journey with Target. There, she worked as an HR business partner from 2009 to 2013.
She switched to Flipkart in August of 2013, taking up the role of chief of staff to the chief people officer and later, the chief operating officer. At Flipkart, Singh learned firsthand what it takes to build and scale organisations in high-velocity environments.
Deepti Singh’s next stop was Tala, a mobile technology and data science company. There she served as HR lead-India for a while before joining Incedo Inc. She evolved with the company, progressing through HR leadership roles while also serving as chief of staff. Leading HR for India in her early years at the firm and then for North America, she worked at the intersection of regional talent dynamics, cultural nuances, and evolving business priorities.
Her most recent designation at Incedo was senior vice president and North America HR head.
Now, in her latest role at MPS, she will be expected to lead the global people strategy to strengthen organisational capability and instill a high performance culture at the global information technology and services company.
As chief people officer, her leadership will be instrumental in shaping MPS’ “global people strategy and fostering a high-performance culture across its international teams”. It is MPS’ belief that her “vision will help us attract, develop, and retain the world-class talent needed to drive our next phase of growth”.
HRKatha wishes Deepti Singh all the best in this endeavour!
