Edwin Sudhakar has taken up the role of senior vice president-talent at Saksfot. This is his second stint with the AI-led, data-driven digital engineering and enterprise modernisation partner. He has served as head of the recruitment function earlier in 2009 for over a year and a half.
It was way back in 1999 that Edwin Sudhakar’s tryst with HR began when he joined e-Calyx and Indchem as an HR executive. Three years later, he moved to Scope International as a recruiter. He served Deloitte as manager-recruiting from 2005 to 2006.
Sudhakar’s next stop was Hexaware Technologies where he played manager-HR for a year before switching to iGATE Global Solutions.
Sify Technologies roped him in for the post of recruitment manager in August of 2007. A year and a half later, he moved on to Saksoft where he headed the recruitment function from February of 2009 to July of 2010, looking into hiring skilled resources across all technical skills and leadership hiring.
His association with Virtusa began in July of 2010, as head of HR, Chennai ATC. In August of 2013 he was promoted to Asia hiring lead and leadership training. For the next almost two years, he managed the lateral hiring function for Virtusa across Asia with focus on India, Singapore, Malaysia and Srilanka. Another promotion in 2015 put him in the chair of head of HR (APAC and ANZ).
Now that he is back with Saksoft, Edwin Sudhakar will add to the growth of the company backed by his experience in performance management, employee relations and recruiting across IT and ITES sectors.
HRKatha wishes him all the best!
