Hunar.AI, a tech startup that builds conversational AI tools to help companies hire, onboard, train and retain frontline workers, has raised Rs 40 crore in its Series A funding round. The round was led by Blume Ventures with participation from Hyderabad Angels Fund, Together Fund, Seedstars, AVNM Ventures, Prateek Maheshwari and Alakh Pandey, co-founders of PhysicsWallah, and Aditya Vuchi, co-founder of MediaMint. With this latest investment, Hunar.AI’s total funding now stands at Rs 65 crore, strengthening its growth plans.
The new funding will help Hunar.AI improve its AI systems, create new products, and grow into more markets. The company is focusing on industries that rely heavily on frontline workers, such as retail and logistics. These sectors often face problems like hiring large numbers of staff, managing teams spread across different locations, and handling multiple languages. Traditional HR tools struggle with these challenges, so Hunar.AI is building specialised AI solutions to make hiring, training, and retaining workers easier and more effective.
Krishna Khandelwal, co-founder and CEO, Hunar.AI plans to use the funding to “help us deepen our technology capabilities, strengthen our AI infrastructure and expand our reach across industries and markets.”
