Technip Energies India, the global technology and engineering company, has welcomed its 2026 batch of trainees, marking another milestone in its effort to build a diverse and future ready workforce for the energy sector. This year’s intake continues the company’s strong focus on gender diversity, with women forming over 60 per cent of the new graduate hires — a level maintained for three consecutive years.
The new group of more than 90 trainees was selected through Technip Energies’ annual campus-recruitment programme. They will undergo a structured one year development journey that includes technical training, mentorship, and project assignments designed to prepare them for careers in sustainable engineering and decarbonisation.

Madan Chandrasekaran, director – people & culture, India, and Davendra Kumar, managing director – India & APAC, highlighted that the company’s success lies in its people and its inclusive approach to talent development. The focus on women engineers reflects Technip Energies’ global diversity roadmap and its commitment to creating equitable opportunities in a traditionally male dominated field.
India remains a strategic hub for Technip Energies’ global operations, and the investment in emerging talent reinforces its goal of combining innovation with sustainability. By nurturing young professionals — especially women — the company aims to strengthen leadership pipelines and foster collaboration across its engineering teams.
With leadership positions in LNG, hydrogen, ethylene, sustainable chemistry, and CO2 management, Technip Energies contributes to the development of critical markets such as energy, energy derivatives, decarbonisation, and circularity.
The 2026 trainee batch in India represents not just the next generation of engineers but also the growing presence of women shaping the future of energy.
