Mahindra, TCS, Vedanta & Firstsource win top honours at L&OD Roundtable Awards

The entries were independently evaluated by an esteemed jury comprising thought leaders, management consultants and academicians.

Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services, Vedanta and Firstsource won the top honours in four categories at the L&OD Roundtable Awards, held in Mumbai last week.

In the ‘Best Entry Level Leadership Programme’, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd took the lead while Bajaj Allianz General Insurance was the first runner-up; Viacom 18 came in third while the fourth position went to Yum Restaurants.

In the next category, ‘Best New Leaders’ Programme’, Firstsource Solutions emerged as the winner while Vedanta Resources came in second. The third and fourth positions in this category were taken by Metro Global Business Services and Yum Restaurants, respectively.

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd took away the top award in the ‘Best Future Leaders’ Programme of Asia’ with Vedanta Resources settling for the second rank.

Wipro Technologies and Viacom Networks obtained the third and fourth positions in this category, respectively.

However, Vedanta made it to the top in the ‘Best Top Leaders’ Programme of Asia’ followed by Capgemini India. Crompton Greaves came in third and Yum Restaurants took away the fourth prize. For Yum Restaurants, this was the third win at the L&OD Roundtable.

The entries were independently evaluated by an esteemed jury comprising thought leaders, management consultants and academicians, including Indira Parikh (ex-dean’, IIM Ahmedabad), P Thiruvengadam (ex-director, Deloitte), Stephen Bennett (CEO-Inspirational Development Group) and Rajeshwar Upadhyaya (director- Par Excellence).

The top four entries in each category were invited to share their best practices through moderated panel discussions, led by luminaries from the HR and consulting fraternity — Yogi Sriram (Larsen & Toubro), Nischae Suri (KPMG), Prithvi Shergill (HCL Technologies) and Sandeep Chaudhary (Aon Hewitt).
