Genpact has announced the opening of a state-of-the-art facility in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, with a vision to create up to 5,000 jobs in the coming five years. This move represents Genpact’s latest step in its commitment to expanding operations across India and enhancing local employment opportunities.

The Jodhpur office is expected to tap into the region’s rich talent pool. Furthermore, this facility is part of a broader initiative by Genpact to strategically locate facilities in talent-rich, diverse regions across India, following recent expansions in Madurai and Warangal.

The new Jodhpur hub will provide essential services to critical sectors such as finance, healthcare and banking.

This expansion underscores Genpact’s ability to meet the evolving demands of clients across industries. Genpact’s strategic investment in Jodhpur aligns with its long-term goal to harness India’s talent base for sustainable growth. In addition to creating jobs, the new office will focus on upskilling local professionals, fostering career advancement within digital and AI-driven roles, and building a community centred on innovation and technological expertise.

“By drawing on Jodhpur’s rich talent pool, we’re not only expanding our operations but also positioning ourselves to deliver cutting-edge AI and digital transformation services to clients worldwide,” said Piyush Mehta, CHRO and country manager, India, Genpact. “This new facility underscores our commitment to fostering innovation and creating meaningful economic impact,” he added.

India remains the backbone of Genpact’s AI-first strategy, with approximately 70 per cent of its global workforce based in the country. This Jodhpur expansion not only supports the company’s operational goals but also its social commitment to bolstering local economies and communities by empowering a new generation of digital professionals. The facility will play a crucial role in training local talent, offering skill-development programmes that prepare employees for careers in the evolving digital economy.
