GlobalLogic, a digital engineering company under the Hitachi Group, plans to boost its workforce in India by over 30 per cent. The company aims to increase its headcount from approximately 15,000 to 20,000-22,000 employees in the next two to three years.
The company is focusing on expanding its operations in Telangana, with the goal of growing its workforce from around 4,500 to 6,000 employees by mid-2026.
As part of this expansion, GlobalLogic has opened a new 600-seat innovation hub in Hyderabad, which currently houses 300 employees. The company plans to rapidly scale this facility to 2,000 tech professionals in the next 18 months. The expansion will target sectors such as technology, automotive, healthcare, consumer commerce, and media.
Additionally, GlobalLogic is growing its presence in Mahbubnagar, where it established a centre at the IT Towers earlier this year. The workforce in Mahbubnagar is set to increase from around 350 to 500 employees in the next 18 months.
The company is also considering expanding into tier-2 and tier-3 cities such as Nizamabad and Karimnagar as part of its strategy to tap into smaller urban hubs for further growth.
