Dubai’s Emirates Group has unveiled Wejhaty, a cutting-edge lounge at its headquarters, revolutionising employee and candidate experiences. Derived from the Arabic word for ‘my destination’, this state-of-the-art hub serves global candidates, new joiners, current employees, and retirees. Spanning 22,770 sq. ft., Wejhaty represents a significant step forward in workplace hospitality.

The lounge is designed to offer convenience and innovation under one roof. It accommodates up to 500 people simultaneously and can serve 1,200 individuals daily. Key features include access to HR and IT services, medical fitness tests and visa support. Employees visiting with children benefit from a supervised play area, ensuring stress-free visits for parents.

Wejhaty also prioritises collaboration and professional development. Modular meeting rooms and amphitheatre-style auditoriums provide seamless spaces for teamwork and presentations. Cutting-edge audiovisual technology supports training and other activities. Adding a touch of sustainability, repurposed Emirates Business Class seats are used as stylish furnishing, blending elegance with eco-consciousness.

The lounge extends its innovation to recruitment, offering 19 discussion rooms and high-tech assessment spaces for prospective employees. With a capacity to handle 400 candidates daily, the recruitment process is streamlined and efficient. VIP recruits enjoy personalised experiences with luxurious lounges and advanced meeting rooms.

New joiners are welcomed with an immersive introduction to Emirates’ culture, values and vision. Friendly concierge staff assist visitors with various needs, from visa processes to payroll queries, ensuring a smooth journey. The lounge also features art installations and social spaces, adding sophistication and warmth to the environment.

Wejhaty sets a new benchmark for workplace facilities, reflecting Emirates Group’s commitment to its workforce and candidates. By creating a seamless, stylish, and sustainable hub, Emirates demonstrates its dedication to employee care and experience, heralding a new era of corporate innovation.
