RPG Group has launched ‘HappyXchange,’ a platform that reshapes employee recognition by introducing a new ‘Currency of Happiness’ called ‘Happiness Coins.’ The initiative will enable employees across the organisation to celebrate each other’s contributions.
This innovative approach brings RPG’s philosophy, that happiness is real when shared, into a practical and visible form.
HappyXchange consolidates all of RPG’s rewards and recognition programmes into a single, user-friendly platform. With this, employees at all levels can express appreciation and foster a culture of support and camaraderie. Through Happiness Coins, team members can also recognise efforts, collaboration, support, and mentorship, regardless of role or seniority.
From managers appreciating team efforts to colleagues acknowledging each other’s support or even junior employees recognising senior leaders, Happiness Coins provide an inclusive way to promote positive workplace relationships. Employees can redeem their coins in a marketplace filled with curated rewards, ranging from travel experiences to merchandise and other meaningful options.
This new initiative not only enhances RPG’s egalitarian culture but also breaks down traditional hierarchical barriers. It allows appreciation to flow freely across all levels of the organisation. HappyXchange is more than just a rewards system—it’s a movement towards a more connected, engaged, and joyful workplace at RPG.
Harsh Goenka, chairman, RPG Group, shares his thoughts on this initiative, “By recognising the small yet impactful actions of our team members — whether it’s lending a helping hand or celebrating milestones — we are reinforcing the idea that every contribution matters.”
According to S. Venkatesh, president – group HR, RPG Group, “HappyXchange is our way of making appreciation a living, breathing part of RPG’s culture. With Happiness Coins, we are offering everyone, not just managers, the power to recognise, appreciate, and uplift each other. It’s simple, it’s tangible, and it strengthens the bonds we share as RPGians.”
