After playing vice president of strategy, planning and portfolio at Stellantis, Netra Gowda has moved to Airbus as vice president-HR transformation, digital and AI.
An engineering graduate, Netra Gowda worked as a research and development engineer at Daimler Chrysler from 2004 to 2006. She then went on to complete and MBA from Hochschule Esslingen – University of Applied Sciences, Germany, in 2006-2007, before joining Intel as strategic marketing manager from June of 2007 to September of 2008.
Airbus Defence and Space roped her in for the role of employment marketing manager, based out of Bavaria, Germany in September of 2008. After over a year in this role, she became group strategy and analysis manager, Airbus, working out of Paris, France.
Less than a year and a half into this role, she was promoted to corporate innovation manager, based out of Toulouse, France. Over four and a half years later, she was elevated to head of culture change for digital transformation in September of 2015.
By September 2016 she was appointed chief-of-staff to digital transformation officer, working out of Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
From October 2018 to January of 2024 she played head of advanced analytics, AI and cloud acceleration for Airbus Defence and Space.
Additionally, for the past eight odd years, Netra Gowda has been a guest lecture with SciencePo lecturing on the impacts of digitalisation. She has also been a Millennium Leadership Fellow at Atlantic Council.
It was in January of 2024 that she came to be associated with Stellantis as vice president of strategy, planning and portfolio.
Now, she is back with Airbus as VP-HR transformation, digital and AI. She is “Excited to see familiar faces again and begin this new chapter!” at the company that offers technologically-advanced solutions in aerospace, defence, and connected services.
