Sunniel Buttan has become part of Alike’s leadership after accepting the role of vice president-group HR.  He has moved from TCG Dital, where he served as associate director HR-global operations, for more than a year.

An alumnus of the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, Buttan worked with Andersen for three years, and then EY for four years, in the initial years of his career.

In December 2006, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as manager-HR. During his almost six-year long tenure there, he served as HR generalist and global mobility specialist-North.

From 2012 to 2016, he was associated with KPMG as senior HR business partner. For a little over a year after that, he was principal consultant for Marc Consulting.

His next stop was K Hospitality Corp, where he joined as HR head-North, in 2018. About three and a half years into this role, he was promoted to national HR head. This role saw him handling budgeting, workforce planning, budgeting and forecasting, compensation, Key Performance Indicators, labour relations, attrition and forecasting among other responsibilities.

After a successful tenure at K Hospitality, that lasted over five years, Buttan moved to TCG Digital.

A true professional with a great eye for detail, Sunniel Buttan is known to remain calm even in extremely stressful situations. His strategic mindset and exceptional leadership skills will be an asset to Alike, a social travel marketplace that aims to establish a new way of sharing, discovering, planning and booking travel experiences. It connects and benefits both global travellers and travel content creators. HRKatha wishes him all the best in his new assignment.
