    Amit Kumar Sharda elevated to CHRO, Indo National

    Sharda, who joined Indo National (Nippo) less than a year ago, was earlier head of human resources at the battery-manufacturing firm

    After spending nine months playing head of human resources, Indo National, Amit Kumar Sharda has been elevated to chief human resources officer (CHRO) at the Chennai-headquarter company that manufacturers and markets dry cell batteries under the brand ‘Nippo’.

    Sharda spent a successful tenure of over 12 and a half years with Cavinkare, as lead-HRBP. Among other responsibilities, Sharda headed HR for personal care and international business (Bangladesh, Srilanka and Nepal).

    In the initial years of his professional journey, Amit Kumar Sharda served as recruiter for Ma Foi, understanding IT & ITES sector requirements of clients, handling first-level screening and segregation of resumes, assessing cultural fit of the candidates with the organisation, testing and evaluating candidates, and even maintaining MIS report among other duties.

    In the year 2008 Sharda moved to IFMR Trust where he spent almost four years looking into ecruitment for the development sector such as microfinance, capital market, investment. He also took care of campus recruitment , employee relations and induction of new joinees.

    It was in February of 2012 that Amit Kumar Sharda joined Cavinkare, handling performance appraisal management for the entire organisaiton. He also headed personal care and international business in Bangladesh, Srilanka and Nepal.

    Sharda is known to be a dedicated and hardworking HR professional with the acumen to build up a strong business enterprise with fantastic HR practices .
