Bhavnesh Bhat has been roped in to play group chief human resources officer (GCHRO), SAARC, for Sugam Group. He moves from RippleHR Global Consulting, where he was chief of HR and strategy.

An alumnus of Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad and XLRI Jamshedpur, Bhavnesh Bhat began his tryst with HR in 2006, with ABN Amro Bank, as human resources officer, before switching to SRT as lead-human resources.

From 2010 to 2012, he served as head-special projects and HR transformation, Tulip Telecom. Then came a stint with TD, as head-HR. November of 2014 saw him take on the role of senior manager-talent management & HR business partner, Jabong. Ten months into this role, he was elevated to lead-talent management, learning and development HRBP. In this role he worked directly with the senior leadership team in leading the company to meet its people objectives.

In 2016 he joined Ramco Systems, where he played global partner, talent and people success.

At RippleHR Global Consulting, he spent over seven years focussing on performance management, employee engagement, change & transformation, leadership development, high potential & leadership assessments, HR strategy, organisation effectiveness, recruitment and training.

His personal goal is to enable people he comes across to become better professionals and most importantly, more complete individuals. He believes that dedicating time to coaching and mentoring is crucial as he sees how profoundly it impacts people’s lives.

HRKatha wishes Bhavnesh Bhat all the best in his latest assignment at Sugam, which is a known brand in the logistics industry.
