After a successful four-year long tenure at Varroc, Narayan Ramachandran has joined CANPACK India as India HR head.

Backed by over two decades of experience, Ramachandran began his professional journey as HR executive with e3R Infosystems, in 2002. He moved to eGain Communications in 2003, as assistant manager-HR. Almost three years later, he switched to Syntel Inc. as HR business partner.

Ramachandran’s next stop was Mphasis where he joined as HR business partner for three business verticals.

His association with Dresser Rand, a Siemens business, began in June of 2010. He joined as manager-HR and within three years was elevated to head of talent acquisition (APAC).

From 2015 to 2018 he served as head-HRBP (R&D, IT and sales-APAC and Middle East). His tenure with Dresser Rand lasted almost eight years.

For a short while he worked as an HR consultant before taking up the role of head-HR (corporate, R&D, IT) at Kirloskar Oil Engines, working out of Pune. Two and a half years later, he moved to Varroc as head-HR (corporate and IT) for a four-year stint.

Ramachandran looks forward to working with the leadership at CANPACK to “take the HR function to greater heights.” CANPACK, a packaging company operates three mega manufacturing plants in India–two for beverage cans and one for glass bottles.

Narayan Ramachandran holds an MBA in human resources from Savitribai Phule Pune University, and has completed a PhD in enhancing HR sustainability through the use of artificial intelligence, from JECRC University. HRKatha wishes him all the best in his new assignment.
