    Deepak Dobriyal is global head-talent and HR transformation, Biocon Biologics

    After along and successful tenure that lasted over 11 years at Birlasoft, Deepak Dobriyal has now joined Biocon Biologics as global head-talent and HR transformation.

    Dobriyal brings over 25 years of experience to the table, having begun his professional journey in 2000, as manager-HR, Newgen Software Technologies.

    Two years later, he moved to IBM Global Process Services, in a similar capacity for a year. His next stop was NCR Corporation where he joined as senior HR consultant from 2003 to 2005.
    Cognizant Solutions roped Dobriyal in for the role of head of people practice (BPO), in 2005. Over three and a half years into this role, he was elevated to integration manager and head of HR, MarketRx, a Cognizant company.

    March of 2010 saw him handling HR transformation and consulting. From 2011 to 2013 he was handling enterprise transformation. By September of 2013 he had been promoted to talent acquisition (North & West India) and site HR leader, working out of Pune.

    Deepak Dobriyal’s association with Birlasoft began in May of 2014 when he joined as vice president-corporate HR and talent acquisition. He was promoted to vice president -corporate HR and global talent management in 2017.

    Three years into this role came another promotion that made him senior vice president, global leader-talent management and corporate HR.

    Now, in his latest assignment at Biocon Biologics, a subsidiary of Biocon and a fully integrated global biosimilars organisation, he will be responsible for fulfilling the talent needs of the organisation and building the talent pipeline for the future.

    He will also focus on creating “a skill-based learning organisation which is always at the frontier of technology and capabilities”.
