EKA Mobility, an electric vehicle and technology company, has appointed Mohit Sharma as its chief human resource officer (CHRO). In this role, he will focus on people-centric policies, talent management, high-performance work culture, and employee satisfaction.
Prior to this, Sharma was associated with Parle Agro as its VP-HR. He joined the company in the year 2024.
With 27 years of HR experience, Sharma has held key leadership roles at Whirlpool, VVF Group, Force Motors, Dabur India, UK Modi Group and Hindustan Lever. His expertise lies in talent management, organisational transformation, performance-driven culture, and global HR strategy.
Sharma began his career in 1998 with Hindustan Lever. He joined the company as its assistant manager-HR and supported the popular foods division for HR and IR. In 2001 he joined UK Modi Group as its deputy manager-HR.
It was 2004 when he joined Dabur India as its assistant manager-HR. In this role, he designed and implemented a methodology for hiring Blue Collars (ITI) which eliminates external environment interference. In 2005, Sharma moved to Whirpool as its GM-HR. In this role, he institutionalised and embedded Whirlpool’s processes of performance management, succession planning and employee engagement.
Sharma’s next stop was Force Motors where he joined as senior general manager-HR in 2009. He joined Firodia Enterprises to look after three companies i.e., Force Motors (Light Commercial Vehicle and Small Commercial Vehicle) Man Force Trucks (Heavy Commercial Vehicle) and Jai Hind Industries (Auto components). In 2012, he joined VVP Group as its G-CHRO.
