Ross Tisnovsky returns to Everest Group for a second stint after spending 12 years with McKinsey & Company. Tisnovsky will lead the expansion of Everest Group’s CIO Research and Advisory practice as partner and head.
This strategic initiative is designed to support technology leaders navigating an increasingly complex digital and AI-infused landscape.
While at McKinsey & Company, Tisnovsky co-founded and led McKinsey Solution Ignite, a technology-enabled service line focused on IT performance improvement.
He brings deep expertise at the intersection of technology strategy, operational excellence and data-driven decision-making.
In his earlier stint with Everest, Tisnovsky had joined in 2006. During that stint, he founded and led the Group’s IT outsourcing research service line, helping enterprises and senior leaders optimise outsourcing strategies and outcomes.
Jimit Arora, CEO, Everest Group, admits that a CIO’s role has “never been more critical or more complex” because there is a need for “technology leaders to navigate the AI journey”. According to Arora, “This is not only to drive efficiency, but to unlock growth, accelerate value from digital investments, and shape enterprise-wide transformation across markets”. He is relying on Tisnovsky’s combination of “experience, vision, and leadership to this role.”
Tisnovsky himself is looking forward to “to building a practice that helps CIOs lead with clarity, confidence and at speed”.
Under his leadership, the expanded CIO practice will combine Everest Group’s global research capabilities with a strong focus on IT performance improvement, enabling CIOs to make faster, more informed and more confident decisions.
