    Finolex Industries makes changes to leadership, gets new MD and director- technical

    Finolex Industries, the Indian PVC pipes and fittings manufacturer has announced the appointment of Udipt Agarwal as managing director and Rambabu Sanka as director-technical.

    An alumnus of INSEAD, Udipt Agarwal is backed by over 30 years of experience across the chemicals, bio-industrial and specialty materials sectors. He holds a BTech and brings to the table extensive expertise in operations, business management, and market development across Asia.

    Rambabu Sanka comes with nearly four decades of experience in chemical manufacturing, including long-standing expertise in VCM/PVC operations. His strengths in plant management and process optimisation will further enhance Finolex’s manufacturing excellence.

    Prakash P Chhabria, executive chairman, Finolex Industries, believes that Agarwal and Sanka’s “complementary strengths will help us accelerate our journey of innovation, operational excellence, and market leadership. Under their guidance, we are confident of building a more agile, future-ready Finolex that continues to deliver exceptional value to our customers, partners, and shareholders.”

    Meanwhile, Saurabh Dhanorkar, managing director and Saumya Chakrabarti, director – technical have retired.

    Chhabria acknowledged the “invaluable contributions, vision, and leadership” of Chakrabarti and Dhanorkar over the years”, admitting that their “efforts have laid a strong foundation for the next phase of Finolex’s growth”.
