Fusion Microfinance ropes in Pooja Mehta as CHRO

Backed by over two decades of exclusive HR experience, Mehta is an alumna of XLRI, Jamshedpur and Delhi University.

She started her career with CitiFinancial, as assistant manager in 1998. Two and a half years later, she moved to Mercer Human Resource Consulting as a consultant for less than four years. After about a year with Lakshya Digital, as HR consultant, in 2008, she joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as principal consultant.

From 2010 to 2013, she worked as principal, rewards consulting at Mercer Consulting, before moving to Magma Fincorp as VP – OD & Rewards. By 2015, she became an independent HR consultant, and remained so for almost eight years, till Fusion Microfinance roped her in to head – HR.

With “hiring, developing and retaining talent” being most important to the Company, Devesh Sachdev, MD & CEO, Fusion Microfinance, is confident that “Mehta’s experience in scaling and building high performance teams”, will help ”grow our team with the best the industry has to offer”.

With immense interest in psychology, Mehta is a trained Life Coach and a certified Hogan Assessor.
