Trimont has named Malvika Jhangiani as chief people officer to lead its global people and culture function.

In the new role based in Atlanta, Jhangiani will oversee talent acquisition, learning and development, DEI, benefits, and HR operations. She will be tasked with strengthening Trimont’s people agenda, enabling culture transformation, and aligning talent strategies to support the company’s international growth.

The appointment signals Trimont’s continued commitment to building leadership depth and a high-performing, people-first workplace.

Malvika Jhangiani brings more than 25 years of global HR experience across technology, consumer goods, agriculture and consulting.

She joins from FARO Technologies, where she was chief human resources officer from April 2024 to May 2026. As global CHRO for the 3D measurement company with operations in 28 countries, she was accountable for all aspects of human capital strategy and partnered closely with the CEO and Board on organisational design and leadership alignment.

Jhangiani’s career spans consulting to large-scale enterprise HR. She started as a senior consultant at Arthur Andersen from 1999 to 2003, then moved to Ernst & Young from 2002 to 2003, delivering HR transformation work across India and the Middle East.

From 2003 to 2005 she was manager–organisational effectiveness & development at Cadbury Schweppes, leading OD for Cadbury India and supporting HR integration for the Adams Brands acquisition.

She then joined Monsanto, where she spent 12 years until 2019. Key roles included compensation lead for North & Latin America from October 2006 to December 2009, compensation lead for Global Seeds & Traits in 2010, and HR lead for US operations from May 2010 to January 2012.

She was then promoted to HR director for North America seed manufacturing from January 2012 to September 2013, HR director for US commercial operations from October 2013 to June 2016, and director HR for corporate strategy and global IT from June 2016 to August 2019. At Monsanto she led workforce planning for an $8B+ business, restructured sales organisations, and embedded digital and DEI strategies.

She later served as Interim CHRO at Advanced Agrilytics from Aug 2019 to Oct 2020, and as VP, human resources at Newell Brands from May 2021 to May 2024, supporting 5,000+ employees across iconic brands.

At Trimont, Jhangiani will focus on scaling leadership capability and building culture to drive long-term organisational success.
