Geena Binoy, who had been leading the global delivery of digital enterprise solutions or DES at Tata Technologies, will essay the role of chief human resources officer (CHRO), starting today, 10 September 2024. With 30 years of experience backing her, Binoy is already a member of the global engineering and product-development digital services company’s executive leadership team.

Binoy will take over responsibilities from Pawan Bhageria who, as president global HR, IT, admin and education, will now focus on scaling the company’s education initiatives. Bhageria, who has been with Tata Technologies for over 12 years, has helped advance the company’s human resources strategy over the past few years.

With this elevation, Binoy will now primarily strengthen the people strategy to support the company’s ambitious growth plans. This will require her to collaborate with the global delivery and sales teams, make the talent supply chain stronger and ensure the team is capable enough to cater to the needs of the company’s global clientele.

She will lead efforts to strengthen Tata Technologies’ culture of learning, innovation and inclusivity, ensuring the talent ecosystem supports the company’s expansion goals. As the company spreads its reach and improves its capabilities in the vehicle software area, Binoy will have her hands full preparing an engaging environment for the next-gen vehicle software engineers that will enter the workforce. She will work to establish the ideal culture and mindset that will support the company’s growth plans.

Warren Harris, CEO & MD, Tata Technologies, is confident that with Binoy’s elevation, “our people strategy will be perfectly aligned with the next stage of our growth. Her leadership will be instrumental in ensuring our teams thrive and succeed in an increasingly dynamic global environment.”

“Stepping into this new role at Tata Technologies is a tremendous privilege,” feels Binoy who looks forward “to building on the strong foundation laid by Pawan to ensure our teams continue to grow, innovate, and deliver exceptional value for our clients.”

Given her proven track record in delivery excellence, customer value creation, and integrating strategic insights into HR practices, she will contribute significantly to Tata Technologies journey of engineering a better world by empowering its people. HRKatha wishes her all the best!
