Girish Mantri has been appointed chief financial officer, Lockton India. He moves from Howden, where he spent over 19 years.

This qualified chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, spent over a year and a half with Merico Filament. He looked after the accounts and finance function for the company in the initial stages of his professional journey, from 2003 to 2004. In January of 2005 he moved to Kasyap Sweetners for over a year.

It was in July of 2006 that he joined Howden, the global insurance and reinsurance company, as chief financial officer. He was elevated to executive director and chief financial officer over 16 years later, in July of 2022.

Strategic planning, taxation, risk management, and regulatory compliance are amongst his areas of expertise. Given Girish Mantri’s strength in finance, compliance and corporate governance, backed by two decades of experience, he will surely be a asset to Lockton India, the global insurance firm.

Sandeep Dadia is the CEO of Lockton India. The private ownership of this firm empowers its 13,100+ associates doing business in over 140 countries to focus solely on clients’ risk and insurance needs.

HRKatha wishes Girish Mantri all the best as he helps ensure operational excellence at Lockton India.
