    IHG Hotels & Resorts welcomes Jacob John Paul as HR director

    Jacob John Paul has been appointed as the human resources director at InterContinental Hotels Group’s (IHG Hotels and Resorts) Chennai Mahabalipuram Resort, thanks to the ‘Room to Grow’ initiative.

    IHG Hotels and Resorts, formerly known as InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), is a multinational hospitality corporation based in Windsor, Berkshire, England.

    Paul began his career in 2014 as an HR executive at Novotel Chennai Sipcot. He then worked at InterContinental Hotels Group as an assistant manager, human resources, in 2018. In 2019, he joined Radisson Blu as an HR executive, where he stayed for 12 years.

    Later, he moved to Radisson Egmore as deputy manager in human resources, remaining there for eight years and five months. Before returning to InterContinental Hotels Group, Paul served as the director of human resources at Crowne Plaza Chennai Adyar Park. He is well-regarded within IHG Hotels and Resorts for his leadership in people strategies during his tenure at Crowne Plaza, Chennai.

    Paul entered the hospitality industry after finishing his Master’s in Business Administration from Thangavelu Engineering College. He has consistently focused on promoting IHG’s culture of high performance and recognition.

    With nearly ten years of hospitality industry experience and over two years at IHG, Paul has significantly contributed to the hotel’s success.
