AI-powered supply-chain technology company 1Buy.AI has appointed Subhankar Ghose as senior vice president–HR, reinforcing its leadership team as it scales its business and expands its AI-led procurement platform. In his new role, Ghose will spearhead the company’s people strategy, talent acquisition, leadership development, organisational culture, workforce planning, and HR-transformation initiatives to support the next phase of growth.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Ghose brings more than 21 years of human resources leadership experience across fintech, technology, media, financial services, insurance, and education. Over the course of his career, he has built expertise in talent management, compensation and rewards, organisational and change management, HR business partnering, and culture transformation.

Prior to joining 1Buy.AI, Ghose served as vice president–HR, Revfin, in 2024, where he led the company’s people function during a period of rapid expansion. He partnered closely with business leaders on talent strategy, organisational capability, employee engagement, workforce planning, and HR initiatives aligned with the fintech firm’s growth ambitions.

Before Revfin, he was vice president & head–sales HR, Spice Money, (March 2022–October 2024) where he supported one of India’s largest rural fintech networks. In that role, he drove HR business partnering, leadership development, workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement for the company’s sales organisation.

Earlier, Ghose served as chief human resource officer, Nalanda Learning Systems, 2021, where he led the HR function during the organisation’s growth phase. Prior to that, he was chief human resource officer, ROI Net Solution, overseeing enterprise-wide HR transformation, organisational development, performance management, talent acquisition, and employee engagement.

His earlier leadership assignments include serving as chief people officer, Zoom Insurance Brokers (November 2016–June 2019), where he helped shape the company’s people strategy during a phase of business expansion and transformation. He also worked as head–HR, ABP News Network, leading HR operations for the media organisation.

Before moving into senior leadership roles, Ghose spent over four years as chief manager–HR, Muthoot Fincorp, where he strengthened HR processes and talent practices across the organisation. He also held HR leadership positions at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, Sahara Global, and Tybros, steadily building expertise across talent management, employee engagement, performance management, rewards, and organisational development.

His appointment reflects 1Buy.AI’s focus on strengthening its leadership team and building a scalable, future-ready organisation as it accelerates growth in the AI-powered supply chain technology space.
