Ingram Micro, a business-to-business (B2B) platform for the global technology ecosystem, has appointed Flavio Moraes Junior as managing director and chief country executive (CCE) for India, effective 1 October, 2025. He will step into the shoes of Navneet Singh Bindra, who retires after over two decades of leadership and service to Ingram Micro India.
Flavio Moraes Junior’s association with Ingram Micro goes back to 2017 when he joined as director-digital solutions. Three and a half years into this role he was promoted to Brazil chief executive in April of 2021.
During his tenure he contributed to Ingram Micro Brazil’s successful operations in the region, strong presence in the cybersecurity space and expansion into the Cloud Marketplace. He has played a significant role in driving the acceleration of the Ingram Micro Xvantage digital platform. Moraes Junior also led the strategic acquisition of a services company, strengthened corporate governance through rigorous process improvements, and guided the cultural transformation of the firm.
Before Ingram, Moraes Junior was associated with Claro Brasil as cloud and digital solutions sales director for over two years, from 2015 to 2017.
He had begun his professional journey in 1997, as data centre-technical specialist with Thomson Reuters. Over five years later, in 2002, he moved to Embratel as senior product and marketing manager, cloud IT and cyber security. His association with Embratel lasted over 13 years after which he switched to Claro Brasil.
Flavio Moraes Junior, who recently attended the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Programme in Leadership and Innovation, is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
Diego Utge, global group president & EVP, Asia Pacific at Ingram Micro, is confident that, Flavio Moraes Junior “is the right leader to take that business forward. His exceptional track record in driving digital transformation, building high-performance teams, and fostering partner success makes him uniquely positioned to build on the strong foundation of the Ingram Micro India organisation.”
Flavio Moraes Junior himself is looking “forward to moving to our India headquarters in Mumbai, immersing myself in its diverse culture, and working closely with our talented teams, partners and customers to accelerate growth and create shared success.”
