Inspira Enterprise, a global cybersecurity services firm has appointed Lalith Sharma as its new president and chief human resource officer (CHRO). Based in Mumbai, he will report to Chetan Jain, managing director, Inspira Enterprise.
In his new role, Sharma will oversee HR initiatives, training and development programmes, and strategic workforce planning. It will be his responsibility to align HR strategies with business goals, fostering innovation, and driving organisational growth. He will manage human capital across multiple regions including the USA, MEA, ASEAN, and India, focusing on career progression, talent aquisiton and management, and performance.
He joins Inspira after a 17-year tenure at Sify Technologies, where he served as CHRO. He joined the company in the year 2007 as manager-HR.
With over 24 years of experience in IT and BFSI sectors, Sharma’s expertise lies in HR strategy, leadership development, and workforce innovation. He has led large HR teams, implemented technology-driven HR programmes, and streamlined operations through analytics and metrics.
Furthermore, he has worked with other renowned brands such as MetLife India Insurance and AMCO Batteries.
He began his career with AMCO Batteries in 2000 as its management trainee. In 2001, he was promoted to the role of executive-HR. It was in 2004 that he joined MetLife Insurance as its regional manager-HR.
