    Intas Pharmaceuticals appoints Rohit Gupta as associate VP-HR

    Gupta was earlier general manager and site head (human resources) at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals

    Rohit Gupta will now play associate vice president, human resources, Intas Pharmaceuticals. He moves to Intas after an eight-year long tenure with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals.
    An alumnus of Xavier Institute of Social Service, Rohit Gupta began his professional journey as an assistant manager, with ACC in 2006. A year later, he joined VE Commercial Vehicles (A joint venture between Volvo and Eicher), where he  played deputy manager-human resources (sales service and product management). Till November of 2010, he successfully handled end to end HR processes for sales, service and marketing function.
    Gupta’s next stop was Dr Reddy’s Laboratories where he played deputy manager-HR from 2010 to 2012 and then went on to essay the role of manager-HR from 2012 to 2014.
    March of 2014 saw Rohit Gupta accepting the role of manager-employee relations,  Mahindra & Mahindra. Till January of 2017, he worked out of Mohali ensuring harmonious and progressive industrial relations at the unit and with all stakeholders.
    It was in January of 2017 that he began his association with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals. He served as DGM and site head (human resources) for the first year and three months. He was then elevated to general manager and site head (human resources) in April of 2018, based out of Goa.
    His new assignment at Intas will see him working out of Ahmedabad.
    Known for being a thorough HR professional capable of remaining calm and composed even during crises, his superior levels of integrity and work ethics are sure to be an asset to Intas.
