    Janardhanan Narayanaswamy is the new GCHRO, Patil Group

    Narayanaswamy moves from Magcore Lamination where he was chief human resources officer since January of 2025

    Patil Group, the company that manufactures railway track components and provides track solutions to the Indian Railways, has appointed Janardhanan Narayanaswamy as the group chief human resources officer (GCHRO).

    He moves from Magcore Lamination where he was serving as chief human resources officer since January 2025.

    This alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur began his professional journey in the pharmaceutical space. He was in the sales team of TTK Healthcare, Boots Pharmaceuticals from 1991 to 1993.

    He moved to Pfizer in April of 1993, joining as a professional service officer (PSO). He was promoted to district manager and became the PSO to receive the fastest promotion. He then handled learning and development (L&D) for the field force in early 2002 when Pfizer established this role in India. He was a facilitator during the integration of two global mergers and acquisitions during the 14+ years that he spent with Pfizer.

    Narayanaswamy became associated with Allergan as human resource business partner (HRBP) in June of 2007. He joined as L&D and SFE head and transitioned to HR during the period 2007 to 2009, based out of Bangalore.
    Janardhanan Narayanaswamy’s next stop was Cadila Pharmaceuticals where he headed human resources for over four years, working out of Ahmedabad.

    Adcock Ingram roped him in for the role of AVP (HR head), human capital and organisational transformation, in February of 2013. His stint with this South Africa-bsed multinational lasted over three years.

    From October 2016 to March of 2023 he was associated with Eris Oaknet Healthcare, as senior vice president-human resources HR strategy/transformation, working out of Mumbai.

    He was back in Bangalore in March of 2023, serving as CHRO, Stovekraft for over a year.
    After a brief period of freelancing, he joined Magcore in 2025.

    Known for his unwavering commitment to his values and relentless pursuit of knowledge, Janardhanan Narayanaswamy will prove to be an asset to the Patil Group
