Log9 Material — a company which uses graphene nanotechnology to develop advanced energy storage technologies from electrode materials, cells to pack level — has hired Raman SR as its chief people officer. With a decade’s experience in HR to fall back on, Raman will lead the HR function for the company.

An engineer who pursued computer science at Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Raman started his career with Cognizant as a programme analyst. After working for close to three years, he moved to Wipro as a software engineer. However, few months down the line, he decided to pursue a master’s and completed his MBA in HR from XLRI Jamshedpur.

Post completion of MBA, Raman got an opportunity to work with Deloitte as an HR generalist. He ended up completing a successful seven-year long stint at Deloitte. During his tenure there, he worked in various HR roles at different levels. Raman served his last position with Deloitte as the global HR business partner for the US offices.

Raman’s next stop was SAP SuccessFactors, as the country HR leader, where he also led the product management and engineering units, digital supply chain, Internet of things (IoT), and demo solutions wings.

Before joining Log9 Materials, Raman served a short stint with InMobi as its global HR leader for technology.
