Luminous Power Technologies, an India-based energy storage solutions provider, has roped in Shikha Gupta as its new chief human resources officer (CHRO). Gupta will report to Preeti Bajaj, CEO and managing director, Luminous Power Technologies.
In her new role, she will lead the human resources department and build the people function to support the company’s overarching business strategy and expansion efforts. Furthermore, she will take on the role of overseeing corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and administrative tasks within the company.
Her professional journey spans over two decades in human resources across various sectors.
Prior to joining Luminous, Gupta was associated with Schneider Electric, where she served as the director of HR and DEI for India and South Asia and was associated with the company for over 12 years.
Prior to joining Luminous, Gupta has worked with WNS Global Services, JP Morgan Chase, Wipro, and Infosys.
Gupta became a part of Schneider in 2011 and took on various positions, including serving as the HR leader for research and development, along with undertaking a couple of international assignments within the Energy Business division. In her most recent role, she has been actively shaping the human resources agenda for various departments such as services, customer experience, finance, global finance & governance, and data office.

Gupta holds a post-graduate in electrical engineering, and an MBA in HR & IR from IISWBM, a business school in Kolkata.
