    Mukul Mathur takes on GCHRO role at Rays Power Infra

    Mukul Mathur will be essaying the role of group chief human resources officer, Rays Power Infra. He has moved from VRKP Group (Steel Manufacturing), where he was group vice president-HR based out of Bengaluru.

    An alumnus of IIM-Ahmedabad and XLRI Jamshedpur, Mukul Mathur was consultant-HRD, for Ma Foi Randstad for almost five years in the early years of his career. There, he managed a workforce that was 700-strong and spread across seven clients and 35 locations. In May 2005 he moved to Hewitt Associates as regional head-HR delivery (North).

    Mathur’s next stop was Apollo International, where he served as AVP-corporate HR (Apollo Group) from 2006 to 2007. Then followed a two and a half-year long stint with Reliance Capital, as chief manager-corporate HR.

    January of 2011 saw him become founder of a SaaS startup called Maklin Corp (Indian Wedding Venues/ Wedding Wazir). Three and a half years later, he joined HSI Group, as vice president-human resources. Less than three years into this role, he was promoted to VP and client HR head, in April 2017. After a successful stint of over six years with HIS, Mukul Mathur switched to CJ Darcl Logistics. There he essayed the role of head HR for four years before moving to VRKP Group as group vice president.

    Known for his talent to transform organisations, Mukul Mathur possesses an exceptional ability to understand the needs of employees and create a work culture that nurtures growth and development.

    HRKatha wishes Mukul Mathur all the best in his latest assignment at Rays Power Infra, the integrated solar power firm. In this role, he will be “focus on advancing the company’s people agenda to foster an agile, inclusive and high-performance culture.”
