Raymond has roped in Sarita Tripathi for the role of chief human resources officer (CHRO) for aerospace and precision engineering business.
This alumna of All India Management Association (AIMA) and the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow began her professional journey as head of HR, Johnson Matthey, in 2000. Three years later, she moved to Mitsubishi Electric as human resources business partner. She moved on from there in 2007, to take up the role of head, talent, compensation and benefits, Asia Pacific, at CNH Industrial. During her four-year long tenure there, she also worked on-site in Thailand for a while.
Tripathi’s next stop was Topaz Energy and Marine, in 2011, as group head, compensation and benefits for Caspian, MENA and global locations. She worked out of Dubai for a year, before returning to India in 2012.
She accepted the role of AGM & head HR operations (commercial vehicles) in 2012, at Tata Motors, Pune. Three years into this role, she was elevated to head HR for passenger vehicles business unit, pan India. Her stint with Tata Motors lasted over four years.
Vodafone appointed her vice president, head of HR for Maharashtra and Goa. Two years into this role, she was promoted to vice president HR (merger and acquisition | talent), in 2018. The next three years were spent as vice president, HRBP head, culture, D&I, communications and EXX, Vodafone Idea.
From 2021 to 2023, she served Capgemini as vice president, head HR, financial services. She was responsible for 41,000 employees across five business units.
Her association with Finolex Industries as CHRO began in 2023. Now, she “steps into the role of CHRO at Raymond, in the precision engineering and global
aerospace; where quality, innovation, and talent define competitive advantage,” she states in her social-media post. Her focus in this role will be, “integration, growth acceleration, leadership depth, future capabilities, and a culture that drives performance at scale”.
