Scaler, the upskilling platform by InterviewBit, has appointed, Naren Krishna as the business unit head of the Career division. In his new role, Krishna, who is a serial entrepreneur, will work to position Scaler as the preferred destination for quality engineering talent from across India. Working closely with the founders, as well as the operations and peoples teams, Krishna will focus on strengthening the relationship with leading technology organisations across the globe.
Naren is backed by six years of experience in the hiring space. He has founded and scaled two unique HR-tech startups — Stockroom.io and Equiv.in— where he was able to collaborate with over 100 Fortune500 companies to help them hire and push their diversity and inclusion programmes. He was a founding member of the news website, Inc42, where he helped set up the operations.
Having experienced the “lack of skilled engineers” during his various assignments, Krishna admires the way “InterviewBit and more recently, Scaler, are helping countless young professionals build sustainable career paths, and I feel they are onto something phenomenal.” He hopes to use this opportunity to make the platform more impactful. He will focus on “translating the training outcomes into career outcomes”, by “providing students with meaningful employment opportunities”.
Scaler’s programmes cater to tech-enthusiasts in university (Scaler Edge), young working professionals (Scaler Academy) and those keen to transform into future CTOs and entrepreneurs (Scaler Plus). The high-quality technology education platform’s programmes vary from six months to two years.
Abhimanyu Saxena, co-founder, InterviewBit & Scaler, feels, “Naren will be able to help us scale the recruitment efforts to the next level”, given his experience in the start-up environment.
