    Shweta A Talwar is the new VP – talent & HR operations, at Accenture

    Shweta A Talwarhas been appointed the VP, talent & HR operations, at Accenture. Talwar comes with about 18 years of professional experience. At Accenture, she will be working with the firm’s global clients on their talent & HR operation solutions and delivery requirements.

    After completing her PGDM in HR and international business, Talwar started her career with FICCI as an executive in the year 2000. At FICCI she took care of conceptualising and organising industry events for the telecom sector. It was in 2003 that she moved to the Sapient Technologies Group in an HR operations role.

    For three years, from 2003 to 2006, Talwar honed her skills in the field of HR. During this time frame, she also spent two years with Aviva Life Insuranceas an assistant HR manager. In 2006 she moved into a true HR leadership role with Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Company, where she was the head of regional HR operations for the north zone.

    Between 2008 and 2015, she was associated with companies, such as Thomas Assessment where she was working as a senior consultant and AON, where she was the senior manager, talent & leadership development.

    In 2015, she joined the Everest Group as director – HR. Within three years, she was elevated to the role of VP-HR. At the Everest Group, Talwar was heading the strategic HR operations, globally, with an aim to hire, retain and develop the best talent.

    Talwar has majorly worked in the BFSI and the IT sectors. Having completed her post-graduation in business law from the National Law School of India University, she also managed to complete an executive MBA in HR from XLRI.
