    Wipro appoints Priya Jha Choudhary as CHRO – AI-Native Business and Platforms

    Wipro has appointed Priya Jha Choudhary as chief human resources officer – AI-Native Business and Platforms, entrusting her with leading the people strategy for the company’s AI-focused business. In her new role, she will drive global talent strategy, leadership development, workforce capability, and AI-native skills to support Wipro’s next phase of AI-led growth.

    with over 20 years of global experience, Choudhary has built expertise across strategic HR, organisational transformation, talent management, leadership development, change management, digital transformation, mergers and acquisitions, employee engagement, and business partnering. According to her LinkedIn profile, she has worked extensively across the US, UK and India, partnering with global leadership teams to design and implement transformation programmes while building high-performing organisations.

    Prior to her elevation, she served as head of HR – enterprise applications global service line at Wipro, where she held end-to-end global HR responsibility for a workforce of more than 35,000 employees. She also led HR integration and people strategy for multiple acquired businesses across global markets.

    Before joining Wipro, Choudhary spent over nine years at Capgemini in progressively senior leadership roles. Most recently, she served as global head–talent & learning, Cloud Global Business Line.

    Earlier, she co-founded EQubes Consulting, an HR-focused consulting firm, and before that spent five years at KANBAY (later acquired by Capgemini), where she built her foundation in HR business partnering and organisational consulting.

    Choudhary studied Human Resource Management at Northwestern University and holds an LLM from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She is a Chevening Scholar and a Ratan Tata Scholar.

    Her appointment reflects Wipro’s focus on strengthening leadership capability and building future-ready AI talent as the company accelerates its AI-native business strategy.
