TerraPay, the digital solutions company, has appointed Vinay Trivedi as its new global head of HR. In this role, Trivedi will lead the HR function for the Company globally, along with some administration responsibilities. Earlier, Trivedi was the head of HR for ToneTag, which offered sound-based contactless payment services and solutions. At ToneTag, Trivedi was leading the entire spectrum of human resource responsibilities, from building a work culture to attracting great talent and coming up with talent management strategies.

In his over 15 years of experience working in the HR domain, Trivedi has worked in various HR roles serving extensively in the IT and BFSI sectors. After completing a post graduate certificate programme from XLRI, Trivedi joined Accenture and worked in multiple geographies, at the firm including overseas market. After spending more than three years with Accenture, Trivedi moved to Summit HR, a staffing and recruiting firm, and worked with them as a programme manager for close to a year.
In 2011, Trivedi joined ITC Infotech as an assistant manager-HR and managed 1200 employees as an HR generalist. Moving on from ITC Infotech, Trivedi, who is a commerce and accounts graduate, joined Axis Bank as part of the Axis Young Banker programme under the Bank’s campus-hiring initiative. After two years of joining Axis, Trivedi was promoted to head Axis Bank’s campus recruitment and academic interfaces. In 2016, he joined Future Generali India Life Insurance as the head of talent acquisition, and in a few months he was promoted to head HRBP for the insurance company as well.
