    Vaibhav Srivastava elevated to country HR head, ABB India

    Srivastava has been with the electrification and automation technology firm for over 17 years now

    After 17 successful years of association with ABB India, Vaibhav Srivastava has been elevated to the position of country HR head / chief human resources officer (CHRO). He had started off as HR business partner-power systems, way back in 2007.

    After completing a BE in Dairy Science and then an MBA in human resources, Vaibhav Srivastava spent about two and a half years with Mahindra & Mahindra as manager-HR, from 2005 to 2007.

    Within three years of joining ABB India as HRBP-power systems in October of 2007, he was elevated to assistant vice president-human resources, high voltage products. For over two years he worked out of Vadodara focussing on employee learning and development, as well as compensation planning, before being promoted to assistant vice president-transformers, in June of 2013.

    October of 2014 was witness to Srivastava being promoted to assistant vice president-human resources, low voltage products division. With this promotion, he had to relocate to Bangalore where he led a team of three responsible for all aspects of the HR domain for about 1000 employees working in production units and project sites.

    Another promotion in 2016 made him division HR head, electrification products. From April 2017 to July 2019, he served as head-HR, ABB GISPL, India. Another promotion in August 2019 put him in the role of global HRBP-operation centres and common functions, process automation, for almost six years.

    Now, as country HR head and global HRBP in motion business, Vaibhav Srivastava looks forward to “working closely with our exceptional teams across India to further build a culture that empowers people, drives transformation, and supports our business goals with agility and purpose.”
