A postgraduate in Economics, Rituparna Sengupta went on to complete an MBA in Human Resources in 2024.

Before moving to Wow! Momo!, Sengupta was heading talent acquisition at Anmol Industries since May of 2019.

Early in her career, she spent some time as an HR recruiter for Suvidha Placements, working out of West Bengal. She joined Adeo Consultancy as assistant manager-human resources, in 2014. Over two and a half years into this role, she moved to Senplacement as HR manager, where she worked till May of 2019, based out of Kolkata.

It was in May of 2019 that she began her seven-year long association with Anmol Industries, a renowned brand and a key player in India’s biscuits and bakery market.

Now, at Wow! Momo! she will be tasked with leading corporate HR, talent strategy, as well as hiring programmes for the food service company.

In her new assignment, Sengupta looks forward to “shaping impactful hiring strategies, strengthening organisational culture, and enabling teams to thrive in a high-growth environment,” as she admits in her social-media post.

It is pertinent to mention here that Wow! Momo Is India’s first major chain of branded momos with over 500 outlets across the country, including Kolkata, Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Bangalore, Pune and Chennai.

HRKatha is confident that Sengupta’s experience in talent acquisition and employee engagement will stand her in good stead in her latest role. Her learnings from her stints in the manufacturing, consulting, and staffing sectors, will prove to be an asset to Wow!Momo.

Wish you all the best in your endeavours, Rituparna!
