The placement for MBA Post Graduate Programme in Management (MBA-PGP) at Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) was witness to a median salary offer of Rs 34.59 lakh per annum. The mean salary was Rs 35.50 lakh per annum, which is very encouraging given the uncertain business environment today fraught with challenges.

The audited placement 2025 report of IIMA reveals not just better participation from recruiters but also better salary offers than previous years.

Meanwhile, there was a balance of roles offered to the Post Graduate Programme in Food and Agribusiness Management (MBA-FABM), across FMCG, consulting, agri-inputs and food processing,  reflective of the wide range of opportunities on offer. The final placement process for the MBA-FABM Class of 2023–25 had concluded in February, 2025.  Out of the 52 roles offered, 44 were accepted (42 domestic and 2 international). About 35 companies participated in the placement drive, with several new recruiters joining this year in addition to the regular brands. Some of the notable names were, Nestle, PepsiCo, Amu, Accenture, Ernst & Young, Godrej Agrovet, Grant Thornton, and PI Industries. Some of the new organizations that participated were National Dairy Development Board , Ashirvad by Aliaxis, Jain Irrigation, Midland Microfinance, Novasol Ingredients, PCI India, and Valency International.
