After a long and successful tenure at Infosys, that lasted over 15 years, Satish Kannan has moved to Bounteous x Accolite, as EVP and chief people officer (CPO).
Kannan is backed by over two decades of work experience having begun as a senior human resources executive at CG Maersk in the year 2000. Two years later, he joined Tech Mahindra as manager HR-banking group. He was promoted three and a half years later, to the role of regional head-HR, Greater China. This elevation saw him working out of Shanghai for over three years.
It was in August of 2009 that his over 15-year long association with Infosys began. He started off as a senior unit HR manager-business partner, based out of Bengaluru. In 2011, he was elevated to HR business manager. Less than four years into this role, he was elevated yet again to HR business leader, EMEA & APAC. This promotion saw him relocating to Zurich, Switzerland.
January of 2018 was witness to Satish Kannan returning to Bengaluru as associate vice president, HR head-global markets, EMEA and Infosys Consulting. For the next five years, he drove the talent strategy for EMEA region, built capabilities for global markets, and supported the growth strategy by implementing HR plans. He also helped integrate acquired talent and enabled the HR to set up operations in new countries. In October 2022 came another promotion that put him in the seat of vice president & head HR, global markets, Europe and MEA, Infosys.
An alumnus of University of Madras, Satish Kannan has obtained various degrees in human resources from Cornell University, HRCI and Wharton Executive Education.
Known to be a true business-aligned HR person, this go-getter with an eye for detail will now be responsible for driving the people and culture strategy for Bounteous x Accolite, EMEA and APAC region, an end-to-end digital-transformation services company.
